ATCs 46-60

Starting to get more abstract - I like them. And I like the cruciform ones. The blue blob is meant to be the Water Cube in Beijing - it is truly awful. The last 2 ATCs are an interesting experiment. For the first one just grabbed 2 fabrics and did some freeform curved piecing - I like it! The second one I wondered if I could achieve the same effect with less work by just putting the fabric on top and stitching it down - but you end up with quite different texture - so (sigh) curved piecing is worth the hassle.

Are you still moving at one ATC per day? Surely not! much more I think. We have decided that there is nothing obsessive about you (that we don't share). Deeply worried about attitude to our dearly loved commercial fabrics...more to be posted on other blog on subject.

We all concur about the pieced curves. Far superiour! But what on earth are you doing piecing something that is only 3x2 inches???

Yes have so far stuck to the one ATC per day! Sometimes all I do is just that. Sometimes the change between something machine sewn or hand stitched is that the hand stitched ones are weekend ones and are made at 8pm sitting in front of the TV stitching whatever I have in front of me.

And it is 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 not just 2x3! Surely that means I'm not obsessive! (LOL)
